Medical Board Dismisses Complaint Against Texas Physician Following Strong Initial Response

We are proud to share that firm partner Stacy Garcia recently assisted a Texas physician in successfully resolving a Texas Medical Board complaint involving serious allegations related to patient care and supervision.

The complaint alleged that the physician failed to appropriately evaluate and treat a lesion that was later diagnosed as cancer. Additionally, the complaint included concerns about failure to supervise a nurse practitioner involved in the patient’s care.

Ms. Garcia conducted a thorough review of the medical records, clinical documentation, and office protocols to build a strategic and evidence-based response. Her defense demonstrated that the physician had, in fact, provided appropriate evaluation, treatment, and care, even though the patient’s outcome was unfortunate. She also addressed the supervision protocols in place, showing that the physician maintained proper oversight of the nurse practitioner in accordance with regulatory standards.

With her deep knowledge of both the medical field and the Texas Medical Board complaint process, Ms. Garcia was able to present a clear and compelling case that led to the dismissal of the complaint.

This outcome reflects Ms. Garcia’s commitment to protecting the reputations of healthcare professionals and her ability to navigate complex regulatory matters with precision and professionalism.

We congratulate her on this successful resolution and commend her continued dedication to excellence in legal representation.
