On November 20, 2025, Attorney Stacy Garcia attended the Lifetime of Excellence in Advocacy Award dinner hosted by the Texas Association of Civil Trial and Appellate Specialists (TACTAS) at the Houstonian Hotel. This year’s event honored Alistair Dawson posthumously, a distinguished attorney and colleague of Stacy Garcia. Ms. Garcia had the privilege of working alongside Mr. Dawson through the ABOTA Houston Chapter, making this recognition especially meaningful.

TACTAS is a nonprofit organization comprised of attorneys who are Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in civil trial and appellate law.
